What do you do when life doesn’t go the way you planned? When things fall apart, when prayers seem unanswered, when the future looks uncertain—how do you respond? It’s easy to have faith when everything is going smoothly, but real faith is tested when nothing goes as expected.

Faith isn’t just about believing that God can do something. It’s about believing that He will—and still trusting Him even ifHe doesn’t. In Daniel 3, when King Nebuchadnezzar ordered everyone to bow before his golden statue, three young men—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—refused. They faced a fiery furnace for their faith, yet they boldly declared: “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you… we will never serve your gods” (Daniel 3:17-18, NLT).

That’s the kind of faith that moves mountains. The kind of faith that says, Even if I don’t get the job, even if the diagnosis doesn’t change, even if my plans fall apart—I will still trust God. Faith is about knowing that God’s power isn’t limited, that His plan is bigger than we can see, and that His presence is with us, even in the fire.

What’s your “even if” moment right now? What situation in your life feels impossible? Today, I challenge you to surrender it to God. Trust that He can, believe that He will, and hold onto faith—even if things don’t go as expected.

Because He is still good, He is still in control, and He is still with you.
